Pontiflex is in Brooklyn, which is on the CUSP of something big

We’ve always said Brooklyn was the place to be. That’s why we started in DUMBO. And as we’ve grown, we’ve moved offices, but continued to remain in DUMBO.

We’ve always said that DUMBO is a great place to be, but a picture says a thousand words, and a video (if one were to venture an approximate count) a million. Have a look.

Pontiflex Wins The Magill Report Fantasy Football League

Competing in an intensely competitive field of 12 email marketing related companies, the Pontiflex DUMBO team came out on top this year as league champion with a superbowl victory over the NetAtlantic Tidal Wave. To present the award, veteran industry reporter and league commissioner Ken Magill visited our office to present an engraved crystal trophy and a regulation-sized, football shaped bologna sausage from Dietrich’s Meats out of Krumsville, PA.

Here are the photos of  Jordan Cohen and Zephrin Lasker receiving the award from Ken Magill.  Post game analysis? The football was delicious.

As you might have read on GigaOm, Pontiflex has taken its mobile signup ads international.

Of course, we mean international from a US perspective. For app developers and advertisers outside the US, we were always international! So I guess, the nub is that now that we are international no matter where you go.

The new SDK opens up a world of opportunity for both app developers and advertisers looking to speak to people in a relevant way no matter where they are. It also gives developers both in America and worldwide, a great opportunity to tap into the rapidly exploding international ad market and increase revenue.

Or you could just offer a limited time discount.

At GigaOm Mobilize

Pontiflex CEO and co-founder Zephrin Lasker participated in a panel at Gigaom Mobilize hosted by Ryan Kim.

The panel explored mobile monetization models beyond the banner and the click – which to state it bluntly are models that might or might not have worked in the online world, but definitely don’t work in the mobile world.

You can read about the panel and watch a video here.

Help End Malaria By Buying a Book

Today is End Malaria Day.

While growing up in India, I helped fight malaria by mercilessly squishing many a mosquito.

Thankfully, there are people taking a more structured approach.

Business Insider reports on how Seth Godin is helping fight malaria.  You can too.

Let’s do all we can to avoid these all too needless deaths from a disease that can and must be cured.
