MMA Releases New White Paper: “Building Permission Based Mobile Marketing”

The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) this week announced the publication of a white paper, Building Permission Based Mobile Marketing.”  The white paper explains what permission based mobile marketing is, how it works and what the benefits are to consumers, brands and agencies. The white paper includes examples and case studies from all over the world supplied by members of an MMA Task Force, of which Pontiflex is a member. This whitepaper is designed to help build recognition of permission based mobile marketing as a separate and distinct part of mobile marketing.

    The ethics involved with mobile marketing are such a huge piece of the puzzle for me. Both as a consumer and as a business owner, I cannot express the importance of this. Nothing will chap my hide more than getting some text or pop-up out of nowhere on something as sacred as my cell phone. Thank goodness for the MMA.
