Pontiflex raises $6.25MM in Series B funding

April 15, 2009

Brooklyn based Pontiflex (with offices in India and Seattle) has closed $6.25 Million in Series B funding led by RRE Ventures.  Existing investors New Atlantic Ventures and Greenhill SAVP also participated in the round. The new capital will be used to strengthen the company’s flagship Pontiflex AdLeads™ product that makes online lead generation simple, effective and transparent.

Salient points are below:

1. Over the course of its history, the online advertising industry has always moved towards a higher ROI – from CPM and CPC pricing models to CPL pricing models.

2. Pontiflex has experienced explosive growth since its Series A funding last year. Major advertisers such as Kimberly-Clark, Gold’s Gym, eFax and ad agencies such as Universal McCann, Carat, Leapfrog Interactive and RUF are leveraging Pontiflex to connect with consumers that are passionate about their brand.

3.  Advertisers are using CPL advertising to build e-newsletters, community sites, loyalty programs and other engagement vehicles. By building a pipeline of responsive consumers in a cost-effective way and engaging them in a relevant manner, advertisers can boost branding metrics and generate a high ROI.

4. CPL advertising enables online publishers and newspapers to tap into untapped revenue streams and monetize inventory.
