CPL Advertising: the future of lead generation?

In his excellent Blogspotting blog, Stephen Baker writes about Pontiflex’s work with the Obama campaign.

To quote: “But unlike anonymous clickers on banner ads, they (names acquired) have enduring value. Most of those people Pontiflex landed will be hearing more from Obama over the years.”

On an non-presidential note, Stephen is also the author of The Numerati. Check it out.

Interesting. I say that CPL for lead generation is now. Quality always becomes an issue. However Lead Generation along with heavy optimization can make this method more cost effective than ppc. Especially if it’s in relation to a large call center that requires high volume leads on a daily basis.

    Cheers

    Hi Chris

Thanks for your post – for high quality lead generation, transparency is a must.

Also yes, lead generation is highly cost-effective, especially for high volume leads – not only for a call center, but also email leads, the kind that the Obama campaign used to build an engagement database.

    Thanks again

    Arun
