Clear Channel aims to move smaller advertisers online

Clear Channel radio is enabling smaller advertisers to place video ads easily on the their sites via a collaboration with StudioNow.

In recent years, advertisers have capitalized on the ability to the Internet to reach localized audiences. It’s no wonder that Jupiter Research found that local advertising was one of the fastest growing segments in online advertising.

Companies like Spot Runner and Clear Channel are making it even easier for local advertisers to come on to the Internet for branding campaigns.  That said, local advertisers can also turn to the Internet  for lead generation – for purposes of building a newsletter, build loyalty programs or simply to grow their business. It’s simpler and more efficient. That yellow pages book was getting too heavy to carry anyway.
