Given that the online lead generation industry is still in a nascent stage (even though with 71% YTY growth, it is the fastest growing segment in online advertising), it is always refreshing to hear the perspectives of experts from the larger online advertising industry at large.
Hollis Thomases, president and founder of WebAdvantage.net returned from attending LeadsCon. In her event recap, she stresses several points that would be instrumental in driving the adoption of online lead generation and even further accelerate its growth.
I would like to stress the point of transparency – the ability for advertisers to map leads to their sources and optimize campaigns. Transparency will be instrumental in enabling online lead generation to deliver industry needs- looking for quality leads and hungry for ROI.
