The Pontiflex GENList – Transparency in lead generation

At the very outset, I want to be transparent in telling you that this post is about an offering by my company. And this is only fitting, because the post is about transparency.

We have all been speaking about the lack of transparency in the lead generation marketplace for months. Advertisers have no idea where their offers are running. As a result, they cannot make informed planning and optimization decisions, which greatly reduces the ROI on lead generation.

Well, all of that has changed from today. The Pontiflex GENList does for lead generation what Google did for search when they opened up their content network.

Through the Pontiflex GENList, advertisers can

1 Find publishers by industry category and campaign

2. Optimize campaigns by mapping leads to their sources

3. Generate brand specific leads.

How’s that for transparency? If we as an industry work together to make online lead generation more transparent, all of the larger advertisers will shift spends towards lead generation marketing. In these economic times, I am sure no marketer or planner is particularly thrilled with the prospect of paying for impressions and clicks that might not convert into leads.
