Online advertising grows fastest in 2007

According to a report by TNS Media Intelligence, interactive advertising grew 15.9% in 2007 compared with the overall growth of 0.2%. It must be pointed out that this growth was registered from no meager base – the spending on Interactive advertising was an impressive $11.31 billion.

The ability to measure, analyze and derive return on investment is undoubtedly a major factor driving this growth. And with online lead generation at the pinnacle of the ROI hierarchy, 2008 will undoubtedly be the year where online lead generation picks up the slack from other media and drives advertising growth.
