Games for online lead generation

BDS Secured Loans has signed an exclusive deal with lead generation site Searchandapply.co.uk, which it hopes will generate up to £6.3m in extra lending.
Here’s what I like about the deal:
1. A viral game for lead generation is an excellent idea for lead generation. I would say out of the box, but we are living in times where saying out of the box is not out of the box.
2. BDS is tying in their lead generation efforts tightly with their SEO efforts – they have a goal of appearing at the top of Google for secured loans.
What is not entirely clear is if this is just one more way of getting generic leads – leads that might or might not be entirely relevant to the brand. That will depend on how closely the game will tie in to BDS’s value proposition, and if people have signed on to BDS’s offer in the interest of gaining secured loans – and not merely for playing a game.

The leads will not be generic, searchandapply.co.uk have developed an in house filtering system that means BDS Secured Loans will only receive quality applications that meet pre-set criteria, issued by BDS.
